The new QLink workflow is opening up previously unknown options in synchronisation, data handling and defect editing

After four years of sales cooperation, BST eltromat International has acquired a stake in Nyquist Systems, based in Landsberg.

Over time, the companies have collaborated to install more than 800 TubeScan systems for the narrow-web label and packaging sector worldwide. The inspection systems in Nyquist Systems’ TubeScan family complement BST’s current product portfolio for narrow-web printing.

A joint appearance at last year’s Labelexpo offered both companies more and varied opportunities to continue to build on their already strong position within the market.

The new QLink workflow, which was presented at Labelexpo Europe 2017, opens up previously unknown options in synchronisation, data handling and defect editing. With it Nyquist Systems is able to offer completely new options involving the use of several inspection systems from the TubeScan family.

‘With the addition of the TubeScan family, the related breadth of the product range and specialist expertise, we are able to assume a similar position on the narrow-web market. This means that we cover almost all requirements of label printing and narrow-web packaging printing,’ said Hans-Peter Stockkamp, global sales director at BST eltromat.

Nyquist Systems represents innovative, customer-specific solutions for 100% image monitoring of roll-to-roll materials, as well as printing control with integrated web monitoring, lighting technologies for special applications and networking of inspection components via workflow.
