The Mark Andy Performance Series Press prints four times faster than the company’s previous system
As part of a factory expansion, Progressive Label Manufacturing has invested in a Mark Andy Performance Series Press.
With the new press the label manufacturer will be able to print labels four times faster, while also increasing flexibility to break into new markets, from sophisticated labels to film packaging decoration.
The installation will also boost the company’s green credentials with P-5 LED/UV technology. ‘Not only will the UV LED technology allow us to print food-safe labels, but we will be able to cut down on waste by over 50%,’ said owner Dave Carr.
The company has doubled in size in the last three years, is Nestle and Swiss compliant through its use of low migration inks, and has also recently invested in pharmaceutical grade quality control technology. Mr Carr added, ‘We are called Progressive Label Manufacturing because we are ahead of the curve in technology and service.’
