Neil Porter is a web-fed product specialist
Machinery supplier Bobst has appointed web-fed product specialist, Neil Porter, to enhance its customer service offering.
Mr Porter has more than 30 years’ experience in the printing industry, including over five years as innovative technical print manager at the Centre for Process Innovation’s UK-based science and technology centre.
He will be responsible for process improvement, machine analysis, new machinery commissioning, training and customer liaisons to proactively improve customers’ machine performance.
Mr Porter said, ‘It is very exciting to be joining the UK Web-Fed services team at such a dynamic time. I look forward to helping our customers achieve the very best from their Bobst machines.’
The appointment comes as part of the company’s Business Unit Services Transformation Programme to ensure customer service remains at the core of business activities globally. UK-based technicians like Mr Porter are ideally located for visiting customers to deliver face-to-face support.
