It is with great pleasure and excitement that FlexoTech is able to reveal that the new venue for the FlexoTech International Print & Innovations Awards is the Royal Lancaster London.
Located on Lancaster Terrace, on the edge of Hyde Park, this central London hotel offers incredible views of the capital. A recent £85 million refurbishment has ensured that the view looking in through the window is just as spectacular as the view looking out.
This new venue will not only place the awards in a modern and visually stunning setting, but will also create the perfect ambiance for an event as prestigious as the FlexoTech Awards.
Built in 1957, the hotel celebrated its 50th anniversary last year which culminated in an extensive refurbishment. In those 50 years the hotel has been an important part of London’s high society scene and even made its way into one of the most iconic British films ever made, The Italian Job (1969).
When the hotel is not staring in blockbuster films, it hosts many important guests, including members of the royal family no less. Due to its royal status, the hotel is a favourite of the British royal family as well as dignitaries from around the world.
Guests to the gala dinner on 10 October will be welcommed to the awards venue via its private entrance, The Nine Kings, named after the nine kings of England who descended directly from John of Gaunt, the first Duke of Lancaster.
Once inside the venue, guests will find themselves in a spacious and beautifully decorated space for the drinks reception before taking their seats in the banquet hall to enjoy the awards ceremony.
